Description
The Bendix™ Forward Looking Camera (specifically the FLC-20™ and FLC-25™) is windshield-mounted camera that serve as the primary visual sensor for the Bendix® Wingman® Fusion™ and AutoVue® Lane Departure Warning (LDW) systems. Their core functions include Lane Tracking to provide "rumble strip" alerts during unintended drifts and Object Confirmation, where the camera cross-checks radar data to verify vehicles and reduce false braking. Additionally, both models support Speed Sign Recognition to alert drivers of overspeeding and Headway Monitoring to help maintain safe following distances by visually identifying the vehicle ahead.
