The Bendix® AH-4™ is an air-over-hydraulic intensifier designed to convert pneumatic pressure into hydraulic force. It is available in three pressure ratios—13.5:1, 17:1, and 23.5:1—utilizing Type 30, 36, or 50 rotochambers. The master cylinder provides a displacement of 6 cubic inches (Type 36/50) or 4.6 cubic inches (Type 30). For specialized applications, the master cylinder can be configured with seals for either standard hydraulic brake fluid or mineral oil. Additionally, the Type 30 model is specifically engineered for harsh, off-highway environments, featuring a sealed non-pressure cavity and a filtered breather to protect against dust and debris.
