The Bendix® TABS-6™ (Trailer Antilock Braking System) is an integrated trailer ABS module that combines an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and a Modulator Relay Valve (MRV) into a single, compact unit. It is designed for air-braked trailers. The TABS-6 module serves as a standard relay valve during normal operation but intervenes during ABS events to prevent wheel lock-up and improve vehicle stability. TABS-6™ is available in four distinct tiers: the Standard module offers reliable 2S/1M anti-lock braking for basic trailer setups; the Premium module provides expanded 4S/3M scalability and auxiliary features; the Advanced module introduces essential Trailer Roll Stability (TRSP); and the Advanced MC (Multi-Channel) serves as the top-tier solution, combining full stability control with highly adaptable configurations for complex, multi-axle trailers.
